NETeller's (NLR.L: Quote, Profile, Research) gtcrd financial year ended on December 31, 2005
Neteller, a beneficiary of the growth in online gaming, said average daily receipts from customers in the fourth quarter of 2005 was $4.18 million (2.35 million pounds) compared with $3.64 million in the third quarter, following strong customer receipts and new sign-ups.
The group said it had signed an average of 3,197 new customers in the fourth quarter, up slightly from 3,085 in the third quarter.
"NETeller has continued to show excellent growth across all areas of the business in the fourth quarter and the full year results will demonstrate the continuing strength of the company," Chief Executive Ron Martin said in a statement.
Shares in NETeller, which provides an online means of transferring funds worldwide for over 2 million customers, closed at 850 pence on Thursday, valuing the group at around 1 billion pounds.
